The Sacramento Master Singers are pleased to offer you our first Celtic-theamed compact discs, celbrating Christmas, spiritual and secular works spanning a thousand years. Woven from the musical traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, this rich tapestry of choral and folk sounds includes medieval chant-based compositions, rollicking holiday songs, and the laments and ballads of a great people. SMS is particularly excited about having authentic voices from Ireland and Scotland on the discs -- the beloved Celtic duo Men of Worth.

With a repertoire spanning centuries and styles, the Sacramento Master Singers has emerged as the area's premier vocal ensemble with a reputation for excellence and innovation in its presentations. Performing a wide range of choral selections, including Renaissance motets, classical masterpieces, sacred and secular literature, the select forty-six-member group performs three to four distinct programs each season. The choir is also known for its outreach effort to area high schools and colleges.
